Ladies and Gentleman, we have entered a new era of Thursday Night Football.
If you didn’t hear Amazon prime signed a $1 billion deal with the NFL for the exclusive rights of Thursday night football through the year of 2032. This is the first time the NFL has sold exclusive national rights package to a digital streaming service.
The games will be televised locally in the two competing teams’ home markets. The game will also be available Live on Twitch and smart phones and tablets on NFL+.

Broadcast Team
The legendary Al Michaels will be joined by Kirk Herbstreit to make a great pair to call a football game.
The pregame show will be hosted by Charissa Thompson the current host of FOX NFL Kickoff. Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez will join her bringing experience, knowledge and charisma.
The complete team is yet to be determined to but some of the names that will get a chance are Ryan Fitzpatrick, Richard Sherman, and Marshawn Lynch.
15 Regular Season Games
Every year Amazon prime will televise 15 regular season games and one preseason game. The production should be excellent and striving to reach multiple audiences including the young generation.
For many older viewers this will be the first time streaming so a small learning curve there.
The team is set up to be very good and rumors are they are planning to have many guests on the pre game shown and the live broadcast of the game.
These are the 15 games this year that will be televised on Prime Video.
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs.
Week 2 September 15
Two of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL face-off when Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers led by Justin Herbert.
This is a game of the week contender. Great way to start the new era!
Geha field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
Week 3 September 22
The Cleveland Browns will be playing without The Predator for 11 weeks and will be led by Jacoby Brissett instead.
This will be an interesting season for Pittsburgh without their longtime quarterback who had his own predator issues as well.
Mitchell Trubisky will lead his team in to Cleveland and see who can gain a game in the AFC North division.
First Energy Stadium in Cleveland Ohio
Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals
Week 4 September 29
The Miami Dolphins are supposed to have an explosive offense this year with plenty of weapons. They will play the AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals for a early season test.
This should be a great qaurterback duo between two young stars in Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa.
Paycor Stadium in Cincinnatti Ohio
Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos
Weekm 5 October 6
Two teams with new veteran leaders that are big upgrades for both teams.
Matt Ryan joins a pretty good Colts team with a good offensive line. Thats something Matt Ryan hasn’t seen in about 5 years.
On the other side, the Super Bowl winning qaurterback Russel Wilson joins a solid team in the Broncos. Wilson should have a good running game and defense with him which could make Denver a very dangerous team.
These two teams should be good and evenly matched. Another good Prime Time Matchup.
Washington Commanders at Chicago Bears
Week 6 October 13
Washington head coach Ron Rivera faces off against his old team from both his coaching and playing days. Washington isn’t extremely talented this year but you can always expect a Ron Rivera team to be very tough.
The Bears have low expectations this year which might just be what they need. Justin Fields has some serious talent and if he can find a groove in the NFL they might be an exciting team to watch.
Soldier Field in Chicago Illinois.
New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals
Week 7 October 20
Jameis Winston will determine the success of this team. The other pieces are there, if they can take care of the football they will be in the mix at the end.
The Cardinals are also very talented and Kyler Murray seem to know how to win. We can only expect him to get better so it should be must see TV for awhile in this league.
State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona
Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 8 October 27
We have some very exciting games so far and none much more exciting than this one. Two Super Bowl Contenders going toe to toe right before the half way mark.
We have everything in this game. Offense, yes it could be a shootout. Defense, yes it could be a dog fight.
Either way it will be good, especially if we get to see the young Lamar Jackson take on the 45 year old Tom Brady.
Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida

Philadelphia Eagles at Houston Texans
Week 9 November 3
One team is supposed to be good. We have a feeling that Texans will be better than people think and this game might be interesting.
The Eagles have talent and should be in contention for the division title.
Houston on the other hand would exceed expectations if they got 6 wins this year.
NRG Stadium in Houston Texas.
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers
Week 10 November 10
Division games are always fun. These teams always play eachother tough so fair enough to have it on Prime Time.
Other than that not too much attention will be drawn by these teams unless we have some Baker drama around this time.
Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte North Carolina
Tennessee Titans at Green Bay Packers
Week 11 November 17
Should be another two heavyweights from different conferences going at it.
The cheese head fans always make it interesting scenery for the televised Prime Time games.
Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin
Thanksgiving on CBS, FOX and NBC
No games for Prime Video on Thanksgiving.
Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots
Week 13 December 1
Division fireworks!
Right around this time we start seeing teams separate from eachother. Patriots will need to upset the Bills if they want that division.
Gillette Stadium in Foxborough Massachusetts
Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams
Week 14 December 8
This will be as rowdy as it gets. The battle of L.A. if you ask us. There will be just as many Raider fans than Rams fans.
Sofi stadium in Inglewood California
San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks
Week 15 December 15
Division Rivary Thursday Night.
Seattle will probably be out of it by this time but the 49ers could be vying for playoff positioning.
Lumen Field in Seattle Washington
Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets
Week 16 December 22
It will be shocker if these teams are playing for something at this point. This will be a small appetizer for the big Sunday feast.
MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey
Dallas Cowboys at Tennessee Titans
Week 17 December 29
Cowboys and the Titans. They should be playing for something here, so this one might cap off the year just right for the Thursday Night Football Team.
Nissan stadium in Nashville Tennessee
