NFL Predictions- Week 6 Coming Up
Thursday Night Football
5:15PM PT Prime Video | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
Washington Commanders | 1-4 | 0-2 | -1 | EV | WSH
Chicago Bears | 2-3 | 2-0 | 40 | 39.5 |
Both teams have a short week coming off a disappointing loss. Commanders lost at home to the Tennessee Titans 21–17. Chicago also lost a close game to division rival Minnesota Vikings 29–22.
If Washington loses this game, it will be too much of a hole for them to climb out of. If they’re going to want to keep the season alive they have to go to the Windy City and win. The line opened up at Washington as the favorites on the road which seems a little strange but, OK.
On Thursday nights its usually a good idea to go with the better football team on a short week. That is up for debate in this game but we feel like Washington is actually the more talented team. Slight early lean on Washington.

San Francisco 49ers | 3–2 | 1–2 | -5.5 | -6 | SF
Atlanta Falcons | 2–3 | 1–1 | 42.5 | 43 | Atl+6 |
Atlanta is doing great against the spread as they covered another game last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. San Francisco took care of business against an inferior team similar to the type of team they have this week. San Francisco is more talented than Atlanta and should be able to win this game rather easily.
Atlanta has been hanging in there keeping themselves in games. They lost the first two games of the season I had total combined 5 points. Then they beat the Seahawks and the Browns by a combined 7 points before losing to the Buccaneers last week by six points.
The bet is, Can Atlanta keep it close again?
10AM PT | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
New England Patriots | 2–3 | 1–2 | 42 | 42
Cleveland Browns | 2–3 | 1–2 | -2.5 | -2.5 | CLE |
We had to repeat this line a couple times and double check to make sure we had the right team favored. Cleveland at home and these two teams are pretty even so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised but for some reason we were expecting the Patriots to be the small favorites. We’re curious to see how the public bets this game as we’re expecting big bets on the Patriots.
If that’s the case and the line doesn’t move, which it probably won’t because it’s right at the key number, then we will have to take a look at the Cleveland Browns. If Vegas adjust the line appropriately and it becomes a game of matchups then we definitely like the Patriots again this week. They were the top play of the week last week and they came through for us!
At first gance we don’t like the line on this game. If the oddsmakers wanted even money they would’ve made the Patriots the samall favorites. If New England gets all the bets and the line moves to Cleveland -3 then we will go big on Cleveland. Well maybe not big but at least a regular play.
10AM PT | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
New York Jets | 3–2 | 2–0 | 44.5 | 45.5
Green Bay Packers | 3–2 | 2–1 | -7.5 | -7 | GB-7 |
The Jets came out of their shell a little bit against the Dolphins and ran all over them. Literally, they ran for 5 rushing touchdowns and won 40–17.
The Packers had a little bit of a harder time with the Giants in the London game giving out scored in the fourth quarter 14–2 to lose 27–22. It has been scary to pick the Jets every time we have but it will get easier after watching them play like that. Although Green Bay will be a different animal altogether.
This is a game where Green Bay is going to get a little more action regardless of the spread and now that the Jets might get a little attention, it might be a give back situation for Las Vegas.
Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers coming off a loss is never a horrible idea. Lets watch the line and listen to the media this week to see where they’re trying to steer the public.
10AM PT | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
Jacksonville Jaguars | 2–3 | 1–2 | 41 | 42 | Jags
Indianapolis Colts | 2-2–1 | 1–1 | -1.5 | -2 |
Jaguars just last two games in a row and the Colts are coming off an ugly Thursday night victory over the Broncos. The Colts showed that they can play some nasty defense and as soon as their offense kicks it in to gear they will be a tough team to beat. For now Jacksonville might be able to take them.
Jaguars have shown flashes of brilliance on offense that did not show up last week against the Houston Texans. The winner of this game will position themselves nicely at the top of the division and the loser will have some ground to cover.
The line did seem fishy at first glance because we were expecting Colts at -4 or -5 even but -2 was quite suprising. We’re anticipating the public to love the Colts to win by a field goal.
10AM PT | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
Minnesota Vikings | 4–1 | 1–1 | -3 | -3
Miami Dolphins | 3–2 | 2–0 | 46 | 45.5 | Mia |
Miami might be in trouble without their leader, and now without Teddy Bridgewater who went out in the first quarter of last weeks game. The rookie Skylar Thompson looked decent and he does seem poised for a Rookie, so it’ll be interesting to see what he can do.
We expect heavy action to be on Minnesota here only favored by a field goal against the third string rookie quarterback. Something might be up here? Let’s keep an eye out and watch this line throughout the week.

Cincinnati Bengals | 2–3 | 1–1 | -1.5 | -1.5
New Orleans Saints | 2–3 | 1–2 | 43 | 43.5 | Saints |
This game is going to be a well matched football game. Both these teams come in 2–3 and need a victory to stay towards the top of their respective divisions.
We were expecting both defenses to be better than they have been so far. Both defenses are in the middle of the pack in terms of yards allowed. The winner of this game will get to .500 with a fresh start to the rest of the year while the loser will be 2–4 and have some catching up to do.
10AM PT | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
Baltimore Ravens | 3-2 | 2–0 | -5 | -5 | Bal
New York Giants | 4–1 | 2–1 | 44 | 44 |
The Ravens squeak by on Sunday night to do what veteran crafty teams do which is find a way to win. The Giants have found a way to win 4 out of 5 times and they are surprising everybody except for us.
We will give ourselves a pat on the back because we had the Giants as a surprise team and making some noise in the NFC. They look good so far and will have the home crowd behind them against the Ravens this Sunday. This will be a good test for the Giants and it will be good for us to gage where both teams are at.
10AM PT | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 3–2 | 2–0 | -7.5 | -8 | Over
Pittsburgh Steelers | 1–4 | 0–2 | 43 | 43.5 | Pitt |
The Steelers could be done after this game. Going down 1–5 will not be good for this team, any team for that matter.
It feels like the spread should be much higher but it’s not like Tampa Bay has looked all that great this year. They just allowed a back door cover to the Falcons much to our chagrin. And the week before lost to the Chiefs and before that the Packers. This is the easier part of their schedule as they just played the Falcons, this week will be Steelers and next week they visit Carolina.
Tampa should be able to take care of business and handle the Steelers but you can never count a team like Pittsburgh out of a game. The Steelers will always bring it and give it their best effort as long as Mike Tomlin is the coach.

Carolina Panthers | 1–4 | 0–1 | 42 | 42 | Car
Los Angeles Rams | 2–3 | 1–2 | -9 | -9 | Under |
OK, this might be it for Baker even though they don’t have the greatest options. Carolina is already starting to call for Bakers’ head but when he goes out PJ Walker comes in. Can’t be much worse than 54% completion percentage and 4 to 3 touchdown to interception ratio. You got to give it a shot, so this might be it for Baker.
He’s going to have to put a good showing against the Rams if he wants to continue getting chances in the NFL. The spread opened up at nine and we should still be getting heavy action on the Rams. Who’s going to bet the Panthers right now? We’ll see.
1:05PM PT | REC | Home Away | Open | Line | Action | Lean |
Arizona Cardinals | 2–3 | 2–0 | -2.5 | -2.5 | Over
Seattle Seahawks | 2–3 | 1–1 | 51 | 51 | SEA |
The battle for last place is on in the NFC West! The loser will have last place at 2–4 and the winner will be in second place or tied with San Francisco at 3–3. We were expecting Seattle to be the worst team in the league and they still might be but they are showing some fight, so don’t expect them to quit.
Even though they won’t quit we still are expecting them to get the first round pick but just haven’t found their groove of losing yet. They might start to find their groove this week playing a Cardinal team that just lost to the only undefeated team in the league. This division game won’t be the game of the week or anything but it definitely will be worth watching.

Buffalo Bills | 4–1 | 2–1 | -2 | -2 | Bills
Kansas City Chiefs | 3–1 | 1–0 | 53.5 | 53.5 | Under |
This game on the other hand, will be the game of the week. These teams know each other and have been quite familiar in January games the past few years.
These two teams are the favorites to be in the AFC championship game and we get an early look at what these two teams are made of. Kansas City will have the crowd behind them in Buffalo and opened up as 2 point favorites.
The action on this game should be even and we could use this as a matchup game. So which one do you think is the better team? This game is going to be fun. We’re going to have many props, inside bets, and over/under 53 seems interesting as well.

Dallas Cowboys | 4–1 | 2–0 | 43.5 | 43.5
Philadelphia Eagles | 5–0 | 2–0 | -5.5 | -5.5 |
Gematria is 10–2 as of this writing before Monday Night Football. Gematria is proving to be the real deal again this year and we will be going with the Gematria picks on all Primetime Games.
Can’t wait to see what Gematria has, but just by the looks of it Philadelphia -5.5 looks fair and should be getting even action. If we end up getting even action and it moves up closer to 7 Philadelphia sure does look tempting.

Denver Broncos | 2–3 | 0–2 | 46.5 | 45.5
Los Angeles Chargers | 3–2 | 1–1 | -6.5 | -6.5 | LAC |
The game of the week is the Chiefs and the Broncos but this has to be a close second. This is an important game for these AFC West rivals, the winner will be up there with the Chiefs and the loser will be two games back.
We are still early in the season but this game will dictate much of the future for both these teams. Chargers barely got by with a victory in Cleveland and Denver looked nasty on Thursday night losing to the Colts.
They’re 6 point dogs on the road in Los Angeles where there might be just as many Bronco fans as there will be Charger fans. Home-field does not matter in Charger games but when the Chargers are clicking they could beat anybody in the NFL. Yes, this team can beat any team in the NFL, but the problem is they’re not always clicking.
