We think the Phillies will win this series and win the the World Series but we also think the Padres win tonight with Musgrove mound.

Luis Severino vs Framber Valdez.

The line dropped from -170 and we have action on Houston. We’re going to admit we don’t have the best read on this series so we’re going to stay small.

Wednesday NLCS & ALCS Series

Aaron Nola vs Blake Snell.

We have a little more action on the home team to even up the series. People are starting to realize how good Philly is finally but Padres are still getting respect as well. Lets cash in on this.

We have a fair line, maybe a little low along with game 1 but we’ll say fair and it happened exactlt how Vegas wanted it in game 1 with more action on the Padres. Same exact startegy for game 2 and the line has told the story with a slight drop and some sharps taking Philadelphia.

Due to the Gematria numbers we believe this is pre determined to be tied 2-2 for Game 5 on Sunday. We’re saying Phillies win tonight and the Padres win the next two in Philadelphia to tie up the series 2-2.

Jameson Taillon vs Justin Verlander.

Everybody is taking Verlander to win this game and the line hasn’t adjusted except for coming down a bit.This is going to scare us into a small play. We still like Houston as they are the more complete team and we feel Yankees might get exposed in this series.

We could be wrong but we are expecting quick work by the Astros in this series.

Final Pick = Houston Astros 3.8 units parlay with Cardinals money line for TNF for 2 more Units.

Tuesday Game 5 ALDS & Game 1 NLCS

Aaron Civale takes the mound for the Indians and Nestor Cortes is on the hill for the Yankees in game 5 of the American League Division Series.

The extra day from the game being pstponed yesterday probably helped the Yankees a little more than it did the Indians with Civale making his first post season appearnce. For Nestor it makes a big difference because he last pitched 5 innings against Cleveland last Friday. The extra day comes in handy and we’re not sure what to expect from Civale.

The line is moving appropriately with the money coming slightly higher for the Yankees. In a game 5 we’re going with the better team at home with a pitcher that has seemed to find a good groove right now. Yankees for us please.

Yu Darvish vs Zach Wheeler.

We should hedge our bet and take the Padres but we feel Phillies are the better team and people don’t buy it just yet. The money is on the Padres and the closer it gets to game time the more money is coming in on San Diego.

The line has adjust a little but we can’t say appropiately so it feels like a slight advantage is being built by Vegas on this one. Lets go Phillies for Game 1.

The line opened up appropiately and is moving up like it should as well. Nothing Vegas can do but push the media to promote Cleveland which is happening a bit. We’re taking the better team with high odds and close enough action, so Yankees it is.

Saturday Playoff Baseball

We’re going to keep riding Philly, especially in this series against the Braves. We even feel stronger about thinking that the Braves just don’t have enough to take down Philadelphia.

We love that everybody feels Atlanta must come back because they were the better team in the regualr season. The Phillies are built for the postseason and nobody has really noticed yet so lets keep cashing in on it. We’re going 4 units on this game and if they lose we wil go 9-12 units on Sunday.

Lance McCullers Jr. will get the start for the Astros trying to sweep the Mariners. George Kirby will try to get Seattle to a game 4. We don’t see that happening, get your brooms out.

Even action so far and it should stay that way until game time. Bettors believe Seattle can get 1 at home and we don’t blame them but if you give us an even moneyline and even action on Houston, then we’re taking it and moving on.

We lost the first game in this series and had a pick change for Game 2 a couple hours before the game and missed that one as well.

We’re going to sit this one out and wait, tempted to take Cleveland but we wont.

Dodgers have beat up on the Padres and the money has been on them consistently. All of a sudden last game the Padres got respect for being at home making the line about even. Padres won. Same thing on this line, even again.

We say Padres win again and Vegas would make out nicely with all the World Seies and Penant bets on Dodgers this year. This would also help our Phillies World Series pick. Joking but serious, we’re going Padres to win the series and move on to the NLCS.

Friday Best of 5 Series

Shane Bieber for the Gaurdians who was great against the Rays last Friday only giving up 1 run in 7.2 innings. He’s the reason Cleveland has the slight edge in action as the underdog facing Nestor Cortes on the mound for the Yankees.

The line opened in most sportsbooks around -140 and has been moving up with even action for the most part. Even action, lets go for the better team. Yankees are the better overall team and with no shadiness going on with the line we feel good about the Yankees but still staying small at 2.8 to win 2 units.

Final Pick = NEW York Yankees -160 2.8 to win 2 Units.

Outcome = LOSS -2.8 Units Pick Change was Wrong.

Spencer Strider (11-5 2022) Vs Aaron Nola (11-13). This is our favorite play of the day, we really like the Phillies here as we not only think they are the better team but Las Vegas seems to be taking the lower side of the spreads they set.

The oddsmakers had a pretty good window for this moneyline and opened the Braves as a small favorite which did good and received even action. They don’t have a huge advantage for this game if any and we feel the Phillies are the better team.

We are expecting them to take the 2-1 lead and we are going 6 units which will be our biggest play of the day.

Dodgers travel 125 miles south to San Diego to take on the Padres with Blake Snell on the mound. Tony Gonsolin will get the start for the Dodgers as they try to take a 2-1 lead on their division rival.

We feel like either team can win and making this pick simple by picking the team with an even line and light action. Another game where Vegas had a big window and chose the low side for the Dodgers. Who’s not going to pick the Dodgers in that spot?

We’re going Padres for 2 Units.

Thursday Game 2 Best of 5

The spread moved down from Game 1 like the rest of them. Luis Castillo is on the mound for the Mariners and Framber Valdez takes the hill for the Astros.

We do like Houston to win this game but also felt the line could’ve opened higher for a better attempt to get even action. A little more action but not a crazy amount so we’re only going 1.6 units to win 1 on the Astros.

Not too confident on this pick hence the very small 1.6 bet when we have already earned our house money for MLB Playoffs.

Wednesday Game 2 Best of 5

Zack Wheeler gets the start for the Phillies. He last pitched Friday in Game 1 of the wild card and held the Cardinals scoreless in his 6.1 innings pitched and only 2 hits.

On the Mound for the Braves is Kyle Wright who was 21-5 on the year. Ace vs Ace, Lets Go!

Some people want to call Max the Ace for the Braves but we feel like its Kyle without a doubt. The Braves were -210 and got up to -225 in some sportsbooks. This game Vegas adjusted big time and brought the Braves to -145.

The public did not adjust with them, as now they are more enticed to take Atlanta to come back and tie the series. So that means Vegas is moving the line slightly back up right?

No. Vegas seems perfectly happy accepting these Braves tickets. We are so tempted to go big on the Phillies and we are up 17.6 units. Still staying small and staying on 3 Units.

We do like the Padres to win tonight with Darvish on the mound vs Clayton Kershaw. We’re not extremely in love with this pick so don’t go crazy. Make sure you have a little more on the Phillies today than the Padres.

Tuesday Game 1’s Best of 5

Here’s our World Series pick if its not the Dodgers. We’ve been throwing them in parlays all year long so by now we have accumulated a nice pay day if either of those teams win. The right call for us would be to hedge a bit but we’re not going to.

We believe in the Phillies and think they are a better baseball team than the Braves. The Braves have not been as good against elite competition. In the playoffs thats all you face is elite competition. Theres nobody in the Braves lineup that can be trusted against playoff type competition. We love the Phillies here and the only reason we don’t go big on them is because we have so much coming in if they advance along with the Dodgers. So let’s relax.

Our normal plays have been 2-3 Units and because of our parlays we are staying on 3 units for the Phillies. The rest of todays games are going to be 2 units a play.

Final Pick = Philadelphia Phillies +170 for 3 Units Over 7.5

Outcome = WIN +7.1 UNITS

We like Houston here, the line is right and the movement is not perfect but its acceptable. The line has moved somewhat appropiately but no clear advantage is set up by Vegas. We just don’t mind betting a veteran Houston but because of the juice are going to pair them up with the Dodgers tonight.

Houston should take care of business against Seattle who is playing inspired so be careful. Nothing crazy here, lets go small parlay with Dodgers. If Houston loses, then parley the Dodgers with the Marshall game money line on Wednesday or SMU moneyline on Thursday night. Dodger game starts at 6:37PM so we’ll have plenty of time to place the bet.

Ok, we like the Gaurdians again. We did think more money was going to come in on the Yankees so that is suprising and halts us from any thoughts of going big. The odds makers did a good job of not tipping the pros which is why we anticipate them taking from the casuals today. The guys betting because its a playoff game will be taking the Yankees and feeding the public on this spot, wouldn’t make as much sense as putting it last or first.

We’ll see if we’re on the right track because we have the upset here with the Gaurdians.

Bovada Casino Review

The Padres are a dangerous team and if they’re on then they can beat any baseball team in the world. But, so can the Dodgers. Who’s going to bring it?

Vegas is going to do the talking for us here. They set the line at -225 when nobody would’ve heckled a -190 line here. If they wanted the Padres that’s exactly where the line would be, either way Dodgers will get the heavier action.

Let’s keep this simple, yes we wish we could take the Padres but we can’t. Dodgers are the play, lets parlay them with Houston for 2 Units. If Houston loses then we parlay with your choice of SMU or Marshall moneyline, or both.

Final Pick = Los Angeles Dodgers Parlay with Houston, If Houston loses then parlay with Marshall Moneyline in College Football.

Sunday Game 3’s Best of 3

Ok, we love this game but are only going to go 3 Units. We might kick ouselves but we want to be careful in the MLB.

We are having such a good year in every sport, except for Soccer we’re mediocre, and we don’t want to give anything back. We’re going to stay conservative untill MLB Postseason earns its own house money.

Final Pick =San Diego Padres +115 for 3 Units. We like this game much more than it shows with only 3 units.

Saturday Game 2’s Best of 3

We had Tampa Bay in the first game and immediately regreetted it once the game started. Low scoring game and small ball just felt like Clevelands series to win. If Cleveland loses this one we will bet them for game 3 so lets stay small on this game.

The Under looks tempting but it seems like everybody loves the under so we’ll sit that one out this time, but we do like the under if you want to do a small parlay with some other favorites.

Final Pick = Cleveland Gaurdians -105 for 4.4 Units

Outcome= +4 Units

We really like the line, Vegas knew they would receive more action on the Cardinals so had a real oppurtunity to tip the scale. They chose not to and made Philadelphia the favorite. Bets poured in on the veteran playoff experienced Cardinal team and Vegas made no adjustments.

We will be careful on this game because it is the Cardinals. The Phillies could still win the series next game so lets just stay careful. We like the Phillies more than we’re showing with our 4 Unit play.

This is what we were expecting in Game 1 with Alek Manoah on the mound. The -180 comes with Kevin Gausman on the hill. We we’re hoping more action would come in on Seattle but we still like Toronto to advance so that means they would win the next 2.

We took the Padres in Game 1 because it seemed Las Vegas created an advantage for themselves. There doing it again here but with the opposite team.

The odds makers have another series where they have a big window. We shouldn’t miss one game in this series because whatever side of the window they’re on, we join them.

This one we’re going with the Mets -190. We like this game alot but still keeping it small, maybe add some parlays with a few other favorites.

Wild Card Rounds we always watch for spots for the under. Especially low set lines or lines with big movements approaching to game time. We stay small on our wagers for Baseball and stay steady and conservative with MLB. Post season we do open it up a bit so lets get started, shall we?

We feel this spread had a big window for the spread and the odds makers had a wide range to choose from. They decided on -125 which does seem on the low side with this matchup. People started betting on the Gaurdians and not too much movement from there. It feels like a slight advantage was tilted towards Tampa Bay so lets go small on Rays.

The under has dropped to 6 and some books have it at 5.5. First game of playoff games have a higher chance to cover the under especially with these two pitchers. Lets take the under just as many units as the game.

Final Pick= Tampa Bay +105 / Under 6.

Phillies are one of our World Series picks and they are set up very nicely for the postseason. They have a lot of fire power and people know that but nobody’s really picking them to go far in this tournament. Most people see them going out immediately with the Cardinals. Not us, we will bet both games on Philadelphia and 3 if it gets to Sunday.

Toronto is another 1 of our 4 World Series picks and the last one of the American League left. Seattle is a very good and undervalued team so we did not like this opening match up for the Blue Jays but still feel ok about it.

We were expecting a little higher line because odds makers could’ve got away with higher odds without any alarms going off to the pros. 70 % of the action without much line movement is shady for a week 1 so we’re not going big like originally thought.

Wow! Everybody loves the Mets here with “the best pitcher in baseball on the mound”. Max Sherzer is drawing the money from bettors and the line is staying still. Hmmm. Last game of the night hmmmm.

Padres are a good team and with Yu Darvish on the mound we like the story of Padres taking everybody’s money on the last game of the night when the gamblers will be chasing.

All year we have been calling 4 teams and 3 of them made the post season. The Angels are out but we have big payouts coming if Dodgers, Phillies or Blue Jays win it all from parlays throughout the season.
